About
A small studio with a long attention span.
DRAFTOX designs and builds relay automation systems, websites, brand identities, and digital products. One team handles structure, design, and development, so the thinking behind a project survives all the way to the browser and the device.
01 — Philosophy
A website is the most honest thing a business owns.
Most websites fail quietly. Not because they are ugly, but because nobody decided what they were for: the message is vague, the hierarchy is accidental, and the build drifts further from the design with every page added.
DRAFTOX exists to do the opposite. We start by agreeing what each page must accomplish, then design the structure that gets a visitor there, then build it carefully enough that spacing and type look the same on a phone as they did in the design file.
Working as an independent studio keeps that chain short. There is no account layer translating your feedback into instructions for someone else. The people discussing your project are the people designing and building it.
02 — Values
How we decide things.
01
Clarity before decoration
If a visitor cannot tell what you sell within a few seconds, no amount of animation will save the page. Structure and copy come first.
02
Restraint is a feature
Every element on the page should earn its place by doing a job. What we leave out matters as much as what we put in.
03
Design and build are one job
A design nobody can build is a sketch. We keep design and front-end in the same hands so decisions hold up in the browser.
04
Honesty scales better than polish
We would rather say “that is not realistic” early than agree to something we cannot deliver properly.
03 — Process
Four stages, in order.
The same sequence for a one-page site or a full identity, with a review point between each stage.
01
Discovery
We learn what the business sells, who buys it, and what the site has to achieve. We audit what already exists and agree on the problem before anyone opens a design file.
02
Strategy and design
Structure comes first: page map, content order, and the story each page tells. Then the visual system, covering type, colour, spacing, and layout, applied to real page designs.
03
Development
The approved design becomes a responsive, accessible front-end. Components are built consistently, tested at every breakpoint, and kept easy to extend later.
04
Review and handover
We review the finished build together, fix what needs fixing, and hand over the files with a short guide to how the site is put together.
04 — Commitments
What we refuse to do.
No invented proof
We do not publish fake logos, fabricated testimonials, or statistics we cannot stand behind. Product status, prices, and availability are confirmed with you directly before any order.
No surprise scope
What a project includes is agreed before it starts. If something falls outside that agreement, we say so early and price it openly rather than quietly absorbing it.
No throwaway build
Sites are built from consistent components with readable code, so the next person to touch the project, including you, can find their way around it.
No accessibility afterthought
Keyboard access, contrast, focus states, and reduced motion are part of the first build, checked before handover rather than promised as an upgrade.
